Hi, we have recently purchased our first Motorhome which we are really happy with. We got it last October so only used it twice so far, but cannot wait to get out in it again very soon. One question I would like to ask is now that I have emptied all the water out of the water heater by un doing the little plastic screw, how do I get the water back into the heater. I thought that I might just need to add water to the main tank and turn on the tap ? Since I came across the Motorhome channel, I think I have nearly watched all the videos which I have really enjoyed. Not only are they informative, but the way in which Andy comes across is absolutely great. All the best Steve & Sharon from Shropshire.

Yes, normally you would put some water into the on board tank and with the pump turned on, open a Hot Water tap (or if you have a mixer tap set it to Hot). Once you get a good flow close that tap and open any other hot taps you have (bathroom etc) then repeat the process with the cold water Taps to get the air out of the system.
As Rodger says, welcome to the Forum.

Hi Roger & Trooper, many thanks for the information. I thought it might be that easy, but it has put my mind at rest now. This forum is just what I have been looking for.
Regards, Steve & Sharon.
