We have just ordered a Tag via the Euro-tunnel offer.
Obviously we can not use the 'Class 1' only lane, because of the height barriers, are there any other lanes we can not use. I have heard there are 'Class 4' lanes. Any advise appreciated.

Seems a bit of a waste of time and one way that SANEF can get away with charging you extra! CostsRemember you drive a Camping-car in France not an HGV (class 4) Use the tall lanes and check that you are charged Class 2 many auto lanes will try and charge class 4 but press the button and answer. "Bonjour, J'ai un Camping-car de classe deux" there will be a reply and the display will change to half the previous price! in theory you should be under 3500KG mgw and lower than 3 meters high but minor deviations may well be ignored. French Auto route toll ClassesP.S The ticket Vinci needs a French Bank card to sign up.

Thanks Roger. It might be a little more costly, but hopefully it will make life easier for my better half. We are under 3m and Max weight is 3.4t.
