Having problems with the water system in the van.
After the van was away it sat for a week or so, today I went and drained the water from the system and started to refill. The problem I'm having is that the pump is running but doesn't suck very hard, I have a clear pipe on the line from the tank to the pump and can see the water move (well the air bubbles move) and it just seem to sit there, after having the tap open for 20 mins the hot water tank still hadn't filled.
Can anyone help?

There should not be air bubbles in the line coming from your pump..........This indicates a leak and the pump is not designed to pump air. a thought crosses my mind tho, if you have opened the tap and the hot water tank has not filled have you closed the cold tap (or put the tap into the hot position)?

I found out what was wrong.
At some point before we got the motorhome someone had done some work on the water tank, when they done this they must have lost part of a rubber glove as this was stuck in the water outlet pipe and choking off any water from getting to the pump. there was also part of the glove in the pump it's self and had coked off the valve.
I have now replaced the pump, fitted an inline filter and have flushed out the water tank. Now the hot water tank fills as it should and water flows nicely from all taps.
