Because of the mild start to winter, we kept our Hymer in commission, foregoing the usual covering up with a Protec cover. Of course, we started to get green gunge all over the van and soon ran out of our usual irreverently named cleaner, familiar to those who want to get muck off their stuff. Whilst in Camping and General at Canvey Island,, I purchased some Fenwick's concentrated Caravan and Motorhome cleaner. Mixing in the approved ratio, I applied it to the van using a pump-up garden sprayer and cleaned away with an extending soft brush from East Coast Leisure at Basildon. It has about the same detergent property as the previous product, but what has surprised me is that the motorhome has remained completely free of green goo and dirty streaks in the 5 weeks since then. I am quietly impressed.
