just a quick hi.
we have just bought our first motorhome after being caravaners for over 20 years and campers before that. due to health issues we had to sell the caravan and as driving is the one thing that causes me no problems a motorhome was the ideal replacment. (had throat cancer and am now a total neck breather with no voicebox)
we hoped to get the motor in april but due to unforseen circumstances we were unable to buy one till now. as a result we spent a lot of time looking and our must haves in a van and our budget kept going up. we made a list of must haves and desirables. and said we will not compromise on the must haves. when we were able to buy i sent an email to marquis in ipswich with a list of our must haves and wants. within 2 days we had a reply about a potential van that was coming in as part exchange at another branch that met all the must haves and most of the wants.
after getting it transfered to the ipswich branch to view we realised it was the van for us. a elldis autoquest prestige 180 6 bearth, with a lot of extras added by the first owner. collecting it in a couple of weeks and already booked our first outing in it to try everything out .plus an xmas break as well. due to health issues we both need our own sleeping areas plus we are able to carry any medical supplies we need with us. as a bonus we can take the grandkids. cant wait for the first outing.
cant fault the staff at marquis ipswich
